Scott Kreider brings over 20 years of experience to PLG. His concentration is on business and commercial litigation and business transactions such as contract negotiation and business formation. 

Scott is a former City-County Councillor for Marion County-Indianapolis, where he advocated for issues related to public safety, veterans, homelessness, and improving infrastructure. He is also a former Federal Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana; a former Deputy Attorney General for the state of Indiana where he worked on civil and criminal appeals, habeas corpus and capital matters, and extradition applications; and a former Adjunct Professor at Robert H. McKinney School of Law teaching legal writing. His past experience also includes defending one of the major credit reporting agencies in Fair Credit Reporting Act matters and working as an insurance defense counsel.

As an undergraduate, Scott attended Indiana State University where he majored in political science and minored in philosophy and sports studies. He was a member of Blue Key Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and Pi Sigma Alpha, and he graduated with highest honors and received the Alan C. Rankin Distinguished Senior Award. Scott then attended and graduated with honors from the Indiana University School of Law — Indianapolis (now the Robert H. McKinney School of Law), where he was on the Moot Court Society’s Order of Barristers.

Beyond PLG, Scott is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and Indianapolis Law Club and is involved with veterans' issues.
