Avery Brown

Avery Brown is an experienced attorney focusing on litigation, investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining PLG, Avery was Assistant Director of Enforcement at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Prior to moving to Indianapolis, she worked at the Nebraska State Bar Association where she was the facilitating attorney for the Tenants Assistance Project, a homelessness prevention project that utilizes pro bono attorneys and law students to provide free legal services to low-income tenants who need legal representation at their eviction hearings.

Avery earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tuskegee University in Alabama and studied law at the University of Iowa College of Law.

Outside of the office, Avery enjoys traveling, hiking, and collecting art.
