Angela Parker

Angela Parker is an experienced attorney focusing on business/corporate law and consulting; and real estate transactions and land use and zoning matters. She advises clients in the areas of corporate, business, real estate, land use entitlements, and nonprofit corporations.

Prior to joining PLG, Angela was a founding partner of CarminParker, PC, whose lawyers and staff joined PLG in 2024. She is affiliated with the Indiana State Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, and the District 10 Pro Bono Committee.

Angela serves on the board for the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation and the advisory board of the Salvation Army. Over the past 40 years, she has served and chaired numerous nonprofit boards including the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Bloomington/Monroe County, the Bloomington Hospital (Health) Foundation, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer Event Chair, the Bloomington Hospital, the Maurer School of Law Alumni Board, and Ivy Tech Community Capital Campaign Cabinet, among many others. Angela has received numerous awards and honors and has also served on the faculty for Ivy Tech Community College.

She received her bachelor’s degree from the College of Arts & Sciences at Indiana University and received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1994. Prior to being admitted as a member of the Indiana bar, Angela was the department head for the Monroe Circuit Court Probation Department (1982-1992), which department was recognized for several state honors through its community corrections, work release and other offender-based programs. She served Indiana University as a commissioned law enforcement officer from 1980-1982.
