We are currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our family law team. This role is ideal for a paralegal who takes pride in precision, judgment, and client service, and who understands that family law requires both technical excellence and emotional intelligence.

Position Details
- Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week with a paid one-hour lunch break
- Monday through Friday, with one weekly work-remotely day.
- In-office position on the far north side of Indianapolis
- Starting salary: $67,000 - $72,000, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Manage electronic and paper client files, including pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and financial documents
- Maintain calendars, track deadlines, and manage family-law-specific timelines
- Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, proposed orders, and correspondence
- Prepare and file documents in Indiana state courts
- Assist with hearing, mediation, and trial preparation
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Support attorneys in managing high-touch, detail-driven family law matters
Qualifications
Candidates must:
- Have at least two years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in litigation or family law (family law experience strongly preferred)
- Possess excellent spelling, grammar, and written and oral communication skills
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Be discreet and professional with sensitive and confidential information
- Be a high school graduate (college degree preferred)
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Be experienced with or willing to learn Mac-based systems
- Be proficient in Indiana state court e-filing
- Have general familiarity with Indiana Trial Rules and family law procedures
- Type at least sixty words per minute
