The first episode of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s “Off the Record” podcast, hosted by PLG attorney James Bell, debuted in April. The episode features Monica Foster, who serves as the executive director of the Indiana Federal Community Defenders. She is a nationally recognized death penalty attorney.

In the podcast, Monica discusses her argument before the U.S. Supreme Court, her client and friend, Paula Cooper (who garnered international attention when she was sentenced to death as a 15-year-old), and the case of Gregory Resnover, the last person executed in the state by the electric chair.

Monica also gives advice on how to handle a tough loss.
